Outpatient Mental Health Darsey, Black and Associates, LLC provides traditional outpatient counseling services to address issues such as depression, anxiety, impulsiveness, behavior problems, marital difficulties, addictions, work-related issues, and legal matters.
Counseling sessions typically last 45-50 minutes and are paid for by insurance or private pay agreements.
Sessions may be held on an individual basis, or may include family members, depending on your needs and goals.
You may be referred for outpatient mental health services in the following ways: Self-referral by contacting our office directly to schedule your first appointment.
Referral from your primary care physician and/or psychiatrist. Referral by your medical insurance company.
Referral through Military OneSource for active duty service members and dependents.
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) Darsey, Black and Associates, LLC holds a contract with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to provide in-home counseling and education to at-risk children and adolescents.
This service is provided by Medicaid and focuses on helping youth prevent placement disruption, substance use issues, hospitalization, and/or involvement with law enforcement.
Consumers appropriate for IFI services should have Medicaid benefits, risk behaviors, and a psychological/psychiatric evaluation showing an Axis-I diagnosis of a severe emotional disorder and/or substance abuse disorder.
