Rules for admission:
DSM IV TR Substance dependence or abuse diagnosis & ASAM placement criteria.
Screening for medical or mental problems that would affect treatment ; must be stable.
Detox first if needed.
No history of child abuse, Adolescent services are offered in: Residential Level 2 and Outpatient (which includes BHOS at our DJJ Moderate Risk facility).
TPC Village is a 24-bed adolescent residential treatment facility operated by Gateway in a public/private partnership with TPC Village, Inc., which provided the capital for the building through TPC Charities.
The residential program has 18 beds for males and 12 beds for females.
They provide a safe environment for the adolescent to learn and practice methods for living a drug free lifestyle based on a 12 Step recovery model.
Group, individual and family therapy are utilized throughout the youth's 6-8 month stay to address the emotional, physical, spiritual, educational and psychological needs of the student.
The program provides support through AA/NA sponsors and 12 Step groups. Outpatient services are provided to youth still living at home and as an overlay service to youth in their DJJ moderate risk program.
